The brief

The starting point

We wanted to make a comedy video, because ADM's audience responds better to this kind of post.

The work

What we did

  1. 1We started with something that really happensJuanjo, the CEO, is always busy, and even so he does his utmost to stay closely involved with the team, supporting and helping whenever he can. But his duties as the boss get in the way.
  2. 2A situation anyone will recogniseThat is where the idea came from: showing something many bosses and many employees surely go through, the interruptions caused by management duties.
  3. 3The punchline, played for laughsEvery time Juanjo tries to help, his phone rings and he has to leave. That is the whole joke, and it works because it has happened to everyone.
  4. 4Eighteen seconds, in vertical formatWe filmed it while the workshop kept running, without stopping the team's work.

The result

What we achieved

We made it go viral. The client raised their profile by showing that they are serious professionals, but also approachable, real people with a sense of humour. The reach was tremendous: people identified with the scene and shared it widely.
